Boy I remember the first time I heard KILLER. I cut school after lunch to go to a friend’s house before football practice. He played the album and I was floored and was a big Coop fan until I hit college and lost my mind for jazz.
Bitchin' update, Tom, on the Alice remastered issues! I didn't know they were coming with this. This was all right in my high school wheelhouse at the time! I had both albums, even the promo of "School's Out," which, thankfully, had the panties, and the die-cut fold-out desk "legs" and fold-up desktop!
Yes, you're right.....Warners actually did a recall, or at the very least, shipped out subsequent copies with newly-upgraded non-flammable panties! As a perk, too, Dad brought home (from the radio station) a red "Killer" t-shirt with Alice-on-a-noose pic in hot, puffy pink! You know I wore that as often as I could to school! The money the label was spending on merch and promo was pretty astounding at the time!

Inept mastering for the release…Had they given to Bob Ludwig…….
